Update

Weekend spent on call, lulled by good weather into thinking that the streak of no calls from the answering service from Friday late afternoon would last until Monday morning. (It didn't, but no overnight calls and no narcotic seekers, and four calls is really not bad.) Working Saturday was not as frenetic as the previous month - again thanks to the good weather.

Micah went off on the school bus - and we were on time for getting him ready. He was only slightly peevish about having to get up about 90 minutes earlier than he was getting up during his spring vacation. He came home in all new clothes thanks to not one, but two potty-related accidents (yes, we slacked off last week with parking his butt on the toilet.)

After getting Micah off the school bus, we picked up Thea and went to Stride Rite to get him new shoes. Not more than two or three months ago he got new shoes - by Lego. Lego shoes do not hold up as well as Lego blocks, he ground the treads off of the soles and the sole had to be hot-glued back on. Oh well, he needs them for school - no sandals, no Crocs/clogs during the summer session.
