Thea is five and a half today. . . six months to go until six. It's not a major event, but it got a little lost amidst the uproar with getting Micah's CT scheduled.

Author of this rather useless blog containing random musings, ramblings and whining about being an older parent of a soon-to-be sixth grader and a hearing-impaired almost third grader, as well as other miscellaneous blather on international adoption, atresia/microtia, quilting and anything else that sticks in my brain long enough to write about it. I'm 'Mom' to two kids born in China and I have an intense dislike of the phrase "adoptive mother"; I am a mother, period, no modifier needed. You got a problem with that? Move on, there are plenty of other blogs out there.
