Back from Texas. . .

. . . .a short post, with more to follow.

Thea and I had a great trip to Texas. She got to know her cousins Cora and Gregor, I was able to see an old friend from high school and I went to the wedding of one of my oldest friends in East Texas. Our rental car had only nine miles on its odometer when we got it, and close to 600 when we dropped it off this morning. Taking my GPS unit was very worthwhile, it got me everywhere I needed to go.

Other than a minor, fatigue-related meltdown the first night at bedtime, which quickly resolved, Thea was a great traveler. Until the final twenty minutes of our flight home when she wanted to be playing her Leapster but all electronics had to be turned off.

It was a great weekend, but it's good to be home.
