Mother Nature's Birthday Gift

The weather seems to be casting the majority shareholder's ballot as to whether Micah starts school on his birthday. Thea's school called around 9 pm Sunday night with a preemptive closing; the snow hadn't even begun to fall.

I was fooled into thinking the very light dusting we got Sunday morning was it, but there is about two to three inches on the ground as of right now (1:30 am).

So the best laid plans of mothers and three-year olds are on ice, quite literally.

Damn the weather, damn the transportation office. Bite me, all of you.
