For a face like this one, you could give away ten boxes of girls' clothes, couldn't you? Well I did, with the exception of Thea's Wiggles, Thomas the Tank Engine shirts and a few other selections from the boys' section of Gymboree and a bunch of plain onesies.
Micah's clothes are sorted and ready to packed, it's amazing how quickly tasks go by when one is watching CSI:Miami. All the miscellaneous stuff is packed. After stuffing Micah's clothes into ZipLoc bags, I stamped "Thank You" in gold metallic ink onto a bunch of red paper bags for our orphanage and notary gifts. Like anyone really is really going to care, now that my rational side is back in control. My excuse is the neuroses told me to do it; people do stupid, impulsive things when they go to Michael's or similar craft-type stores.
The ZipLocs for the kids' clothes is to keep them sorted so Steve is not trying to stuff a size 5 or 6 Thea into an 18-24 month old Micah outfit. Those who know Steve well enough will understand completely, those who don't will just have to trust me that this isn't meant to be busting on him. Not really. Well, maybe a little.
Tuesday is my night for organizing Thea's clothes. My guess is the washer-dryer is going to be in use until the car service comes for us at 7:30 am Friday morning.
