I hope Carla wins Top Chef tonight. I was royally pissed last week when Fabio got bumped off and Stefan went to the final. Too arrogant, too annoying - and he smokes, a real pet peeve of mine. How can he even get the nuances and subtleties of his cooking with a nice coating of nicotine on his tongue?

Carla's from Washington, DC (yeah!), she became a chef as a midlife career change (let's hear it for those too!) and she's consistently kind yet competitive.

If Stefan wins tonight, I am boycotting the next season of Top Chef, hear me now Tom and Padma.
