Both current house and new house are out of lawyer review and are one step closer to the point of no return. We'll have about one month of purging and packing to get ready for the move.

- Full-time mom, full-time NP. Impatient, intolerant of fools, idiots, rude people and sniveling. Author of this rather useless blog containing random musings, ramblings and whining about being an older parent of a soon-to-be sixth grader and a hearing-impaired almost third grader, as well as other miscellaneous blather on international adoption, atresia/microtia, quilting and anything else that sticks in my brain long enough to write about it. I'm 'Mom' to two kids born in China and I have an intense dislike of the phrase "adoptive mother"; I am a mother, period, no modifier needed. You got a problem with that? Move on, there are plenty of other blogs out there.
