6:30 am at the Ambulatory Surgery Center, Englewood Hospital - not quite clueless, but in a good mood.
In the PACU, still somewhat dopey, but croaking, "I want Mommy."
Ice pops, on the road towards being discharged.
30 hours later.
Just before the dressing came off.
The new ear canal with the Merocel sponges in it. The marks in front of the ear are surgical markings. There is a small bruise on the right side of his mouth from a clip for facial nerve monitoring. Compared to August, the incision is much smaller, and tucked behind his ear cartilage.
