1,000 ! ! ! !

The little 'hit' counter that I put on the blog almost 15 months after I started writing registered it's one-thousandth hit today. Proof that a watched pot does not boil, I checked in yesterday three or four times only to see 998 each time.

I'm probably more excited than one should be under the circumstances.
